We pride ourselves in the coaches at the club, who want to develop our Juniors to their maximum potential. Meet our current crop of qualified coaches:

Steve Grenfell

Qualified to: UEFA B License (FA Level 3)
Experience: Steve played professionally for a number of years for Tottenham Hotspur and Colchester United as well as in the higher levels of non-league football. Coaching-wise, Steve has been involved for many years at Lions in the first team and more recently with the Juniors as well. He previously worked for 10 years at the Tottenham Hotspur academy, and also coached the Over 45s team at the 2017 Maccabiah Games.

Valentine Mbewe
Qualified to: UEFA B License, FA Youth Awards, FA Level 2 GK coach
Experience: Valentine has been coaching for over ten years, having began the journey with three years work in the US. Upon his return he has worked for Luton Town and Dunstable Under 18s where he worked with players who attained England schoolboy level. Valentine shares his role at Lions with a Primary School coaching role and as a development coach at QPR.

Lorenc Dedja
Qualified to: UEFA B License, Futsal level 2, FA Youth modules
Having joined Lions in 2015 it was clear from an early stage that the players in the junior teams warmed to him and his coaching. After working in the Harrow League for some years he joined Lions to work with Tony Gold, and has made himself an integral part of the coaching squad. Lorenc also worked at Watford Academy for 2 years and is currently a freelance scout for them.

Luke Crosbie
Qualified to: UEFA B License
Experience: Luke is a coach with a depth of experience which spans over 12 years. He has occupied a number of different roles over that time from Juniors to Men’s and Women’s teams. Clubs include West Ham Ladies Reserves, UCL, Hatfield Town, Brimsdown Rovers and Enfield; where he won a number of awards and trophies including the Essex Senior League and U16 London Cup.

Adie Creamer
Qualified to: UEFA A License
Experience: After playing for many years in non-league football, Adie has found himself in some varied coaching roles; including being 12 years as Watford’s lead academy goalkeeper coach. Most interestingly, Adie helped Guam achieve their highest ever FIFA rankings during his three year stint as assistant head coach, including beating India in the World Cup qualifiers.

Sylvester Towleh

Qualified to: UEFA B License and FA Youth Awards
Experience: Following a number of years coaching in schools and at youth club level, Sylvester has worked at QPR since 2010 in various roles including Under 12s coach as well as in the club’s Community programme. Sylvester also managed the Under 16 girls side at Rangers.

Jacob Emanuel

Qualified to: Finishing FA Level 2
Experience: Jacob is a young coach we are excited to see work with our Under 10s having managed in the Maccabi Southern FL.

Aarun Woodhouse
Qualified to: FA Level 2 and FA Goalkeeping Level 2
Experience in working at many football in North London. Recently I have worked with Hendon FC training their U’18 team and With Enfield Town coaching the women’s first team there. My full time job is as a PE teacher and I am studying for a degree in teaching. I still play regularly as a goalkeeper and have done since 8 years old. At youth level I played for Whetstone Wanderers.

Sammy Kingston
Qualified to: FA Level 1
Experience: Having Played Grassroots for Several years and representing Maccabi GB at 2 maccabiahs, I decided to take a step into management, I have recently lead the U16 Boys Football Team to a European Silver Medal at the European Maccabiah and I am currently taking my FA Level 2 Coaching Badge

Christian Loftus
Qualified to: FA Level 2, Youth Award Module 2, Futsal Level 2.
Experience: Christian has joined Maccabi London after 5 years of working with grassroots teams around Barnet. Alongside this he has been delivering PE in schools and Futsal and hopes to use this for the development of the Lions teams. Christian aims to undertake the UEFA B licence course this coming season.
